At QuickDoc, we prioritize your data privacy and security by implementing industry-standard safeguards and best practices. Our team undergoes continuous training to stay updated on privacy legislation and essential security practices.

Confidentiality and Security

Every QuickDoc employee and contractor signs non-disclosure agreements to ensure the confidentiality of your data. We also hold any vendors handling personal data to the same high standards of data management, security, and privacy.

Understanding Customer Data

Customer Data refers to any data stored by customers in QuickDoc services, which may include personal information. This does not cover analytics data or Account Information, which are defined separately. The terms of the QuickDoc MSA and DPA apply to your Customer Data.

Understanding Account Information

Account Information includes details provided by customers to create and manage their QuickDoc accounts, such as names, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, email addresses, workspace metadata, support communications, billing information, and usage information. The QuickDoc Privacy Policy governs any personal information included in Account Information.

Ownership and Control of Customer Data

You retain ownership of your Customer Data, including any content uploaded to QuickDoc. You control what data is uploaded and manage access by assigning user logins. You also handle the administration of Customer Data through groups, permissions, and user credentials.

The QuickDoc Privacy Policy details how we collect and use your account information.

QuickDoc as Processor and Controller

Under GDPR, a data controller determines the means and purposes of processing personal data, while a data processor processes data on behalf of the controller. QuickDoc acts as a data processor for personal data uploaded by customers, processing it per customer direction and in line with QuickDoc’s Data Processing Addendum.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

We adhere to the rules for international transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK. Our Data Processing Addendum includes EU and UK Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. For more details, visit our security page.

We maintain a Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA) page to help customers complete their privacy compliance assessments, including all necessary information about QuickDoc.

QuickDoc offers options to save pages, databases, and non-database pages to your computer in various formats, allowing for easy data backup.

Our data import function allows you to upload information from external sources, centralizing your data in QuickDoc.

Data Deletion

Workspace owners control Customer Data and can request data deletion for users leaving the workspace. Customers terminating their subscription can also request data deletion by QuickDoc.

  • Account Deletion: Deletes the account, private workspaces, and removes the user from shared workspaces.

  • Workspace Deletion: Deletes all content in the workspace and returns the user to another workspace or the QuickDoc sign-up page if none remain.
