Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive law that governs the use and protection of EU residents’ personal data. It grants individuals rights to control their data and imposes obligations on organizations that process personal data.
Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
The terms of our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) are incorporated by reference and apply whenever QuickDoc processes any Personal Data (as defined in the DPA) subject to the GDPR on behalf of our customers.
Data Portability & Management Tools
Importing Data
QuickDoc provides tools to import data from various sources, including:
Text & Markdown files
CSV
Microsoft Word
HTML
Google Docs
Dropbox Paper
We continually add more import options based on user feedback.
Exporting Data
QuickDoc supports two methods of exporting data:
Workspace Export: Export your entire workspace from the workspace settings menu. This creates a folder with all documents in Markdown format.
Individual Page Export: Export individual pages by selecting the export option from the page menu.
Workspace Deletion
You can delete a workspace at any time from the workspace settings menu. Once requested, all content will become immediately inaccessible. After 30 days, the content will be permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.

Manage workspace settings, such as name, members, and allowed email domains, from the workspace settings menu.
Data Transfers
Following the Schrems II ruling, QuickDoc relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure appropriate safeguards for personal data transfers from the EU to countries outside the EU. For more information on our technical security measures, please visit our Security and Privacy Page.
Subprocessors
We collaborate with carefully vetted companies and tool systems to deliver our services, ensuring they adhere to top security practices.
