Import data

Importing Files and Data into QuickDoc
QuickDoc allows you to directly import the following file types:
Plaintext (.txt)
Markdown (.md or .markdown)
Microsoft Word (.docx)
CSV (.csv)
HTML (.html)
PDF (.pdf)
Additionally, you can import data from various apps like Confluence, Asana, Evernote, and Trello, among others.
To import, go to Settings & members in your sidebar and select Import. Choose the app or file type you want to import from.
Import Instructions
Google Docs
Currently, you can import one Google Doc at a time:
Use the command /import or /google and select Google Docs.
Alternatively, go to Settings & members → Import → Google Docs or paste a Google Doc link and select Import from Google Drive.
Connect your Google account, select the document, and click Select.
Dropbox Paper
Migrate files individually or all at once:
Individual Files:
In Dropbox Paper, download the page as Word.
In QuickDoc, go to Settings & members → Import → Word and upload the .docx file.
All Documents:
Download all docs as Word from Dropbox Paper.
Unzip the file and upload the .docx files in QuickDoc.
Microsoft Word
Go to Settings & members → Import → Word.
Upload your .docx files.
Microsoft Excel
Export your Excel content as .csv.
In QuickDoc, go to Settings & members → Import → CSV and upload the files.
CSV
In QuickDoc, go to Settings & members → Import → CSV.
Upload your .csv files.
Alternatively, use the Merge with CSV button in the ••• menu at the top of a database to import.
Note: This feature is in beta.
Use the command /import or /pdf and select PDF.
Alternatively, go to Settings & members and select Import → PDF.
