QuickDoc Billing Basics
Understanding how you'll be billed for any QuickDoc paid plan is straightforward. Here are the key points:
Separate Billing for Each Workspace: Each workspace is billed individually. If you have multiple workspaces under one account (email address), you'll receive separate bills for each.
Multiple Charges: You may see multiple charges if you have multiple workspaces, even if it's under the same account.
Member-Based Billing: Billing is based on the number of members in each workspace for Plus, Business, or Enterprise plans. Even if the same people are in multiple workspaces, you'll be billed for them in each one.
Billing Interval Per Workspace: Each workspace can have a different billing interval (monthly or yearly). Charges for new members are based on the interval of the respective workspace.
Annual Payment Savings: You save money by choosing yearly billing.
Billing and Plan Management
Viewing Your Plan and Billing Details
Go to Settings & members at the top of your left-hand sidebar.
Click Billing in the sidebar of the pop-up window.
At the top, you'll see your current plan (Free, Plus, Business, or Enterprise), your billing amount (monthly or yearly), and the renewal date.
Note: Charges are per member and per workspace. For example, if you have 2 workspaces with 10 people each, you’ll be billed for 20 members, even if some belong to both workspaces.
Yearly vs. Monthly Billing Intervals
Yearly Billing: Costs less overall and renews annually on the same calendar day you first subscribed.
Monthly Billing: Renews monthly on the same calendar day you first subscribed.
Example: A yearly plan purchased on May 3 will renew on May 3 the following year. A monthly plan will renew on the 3rd of each subsequent month.
Changing Your Billing Interval
Go to Settings & members at the top of your left-hand sidebar.
Click Billing in the sidebar.
Click Update next to your current billing interval and select your new preference.
Impact of Changing Intervals:
Monthly to Yearly: Establishes a new annual billing cycle. Any remaining time on your monthly cycle will be credited towards your annual payment.
Yearly to Monthly: The new monthly billing cycle will start the day your annual cycle ends.
Note: Changing intervals may appear as if you’re being double billed, but the prorated amount is deducted from your new plan cost.
Payment Methods
Web Payments: Pay with a debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or SEPA direct debit (Europe). Stripe processes all payments.
iOS Payments: Pay with Apple Pay. Android app payments are currently not supported.
Note: Starting February 15, 2024, all valid billing credits will expire six months from the date they are generated.
